Our work for Sport Systems – sports event management services – started with an exercise in re-branding the company. It was necessary not only to bring the company’s logo up-to-date but also create and identity that would be robust enough to stand up with other, adjacent sports related companies such as Nike and Adidas. The brief was simple in that Sport Systems wanted to keep the stopwatch symbol in some way to maintain some “heritage” with what has gone before. Leaf Communications wanted to fulfil this part of the brief but in some way attempt to achieve something extra… something that would convey “success” or “the right choice” as a proposition. The minute and second hands on the stopwatch form a clever tick device.
Rob Champion, Commercial Director for Sport Systems says: “From the moment that Leaf Communications presented their proposals for our company’s re-branding we were sold! Their understanding of our company, business environment and our requirements was clearly spot-on and their timely delivery of every aspect of our new logo and new website were exactly what we needed. I have no hesitation in recommending Leaf Communications.”
Phase Consulting approached Leaf Communications prior to the launch of their new business venture, Phase Architects. We seized the opportunity to create brand synergy rather than just design a separate identity. A clean and robust solution was chosen that works well in both the engineering and architecture markets.
Our role with Bathing Bunnies, an online retailer of children’s bath towels started with the name. We brainstormed a variety of names and developed a range of ideas. The client was quick to see the charm of the name and proposed logo visuals. The logo is used on a variety of marketing materials including B2B marketing collateral.
