Our work on the Sport Systems website started with dividing the content. The site needs to communicate different things to different audiences: race organisers and race competitors. Race organisers need content that guides them through the decision-making process of choosing an event organiser and chip-timing specialist. Competitors, who are not really concerned with the ins and outs of event organisation want quick and easy access to upcoming events and results from events that they have raced in.
We produced a modern and lively site that makes it really clear where you should go for the information that is relevant to you. Using images from actual Sports Systems events rather than stock photography makes the whole thing look very real. The site is supported by a Content Management System that will enable Sport Systems to keep their content up-to-date and it is responsive to desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Leaf Communications also produced templates for race events and results pages which are managed by a separate system.
